Americans Too Sleepy for Sex, Poll Finds
 (Washington, Reuters Health, 3/29/05)

Richard Gelula of the National Sleep Foundation reports that a poll of 1,500 adults showed that 75 percent experience sleep difficulties—like frequent waking and snoring—but most ignore the problem. Only 50% of those surveyed felt that they typically get a good night’s sleep. And the lack of quality sleep apparently affects the respondents’ waking activities including driving and working, In fact, many poor sleepers admit that their sex lives suffer because they are too sleepy.
