Foods Can Undermine Weight Loss Efforts

Judith Wylie-Rosett of Albert Einstein College of Medicine
in the Bronx, New York, has concluded that the promotion of
low-fat foods has contributed to increased obesity in America.
Apparently a low-fat label may lull consumers into thinking
that certain foods are safe to eat in unlimited quantities
when, in fact, the item may be calorie-rich and nutrient-poor. |
