When Dr. Cheryl Rock of the University of California, San Diego, and Dr. Wendy Denmark- Wahnefried of Duke University in Durham, NC reviewed studies of the impact of nutrition on breast cancer, they concluded that eating a plant-based diet and controlling body weight may prolong life after diagnosis. The researchers believe that a healthy diet and exercise have an overall positive effect on breast cancer patients.
